The Chabad Hebrew School (CHS) is an interactive, hands-on Hebrew School offering Jewish children the opportunity to explore their heritage in an engaging and exciting manner.

Our brand new curriculum 'Israel Quest' will take students in on an unforgettable journey through Jewish history, tracing the story of the Jewish people from their arrival in the Land of Israel to the building of the Beit Hamikdash and beyond. Through hands-on workshops, interactive storytelling, and creative projects that bring the past to life, they’ll uncover the heroic strength of our people and the keys to the enduring bond between the Jewish people and our homeland.

This new curriculum reflects Chabad of Jackson’s commitment to providing children with a personally meaningful experience of Jewish education. Developed by the global Chabad Children's Network (CKids), these lessons deepen children’s understanding of their heritage in practical and inspirational ways.

Our Hebrew reading curriculum, Aleph Champ, takes an innovative approach to teaching the skills.  Modeled after the Karate system, students advance through a range of color coded levels, motivated to excel and graduate each stage.

Chabad invites all Jewish children – regardless of background, affiliation, or financial status – to experience our traditions as never before! We can’t wait to see this new curriculum empower another year of proud Jewish kids, and we would love for your family to be a part of this exciting journey.

Classes will be held weekly on Wednesdays from 4:30-6:00 at Chabad of Jackson. We provide small class sizes and individual attention.  Our prices are competitive and all-inclusive. There are no membership fees, book fees, or registration fees.

We do our best to make our program accessible to all Jewish families. No child is ever turned away from our programs due to lack of funds.

Feel free to give us a call with any questions you may have!
